Dr. Daniel K. Price, DDS |
Dr. Price has been with Endodontic
Associates since January 1998, following three years of
service in the US Navy Dental Corps and a year of
practice in Greensboro, NC. It was during his
“arduous” tour of duty at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base
(Oahu, HI) that his daughter Jessica was born in 1995.
He and his wife Julie (married in 1989) were fortunate
enough to live in Hawaii for three years (1993-1996),
and dream of one day returning to its wonderful laid
back culture. In the meantime, they enjoy watching
Jessica excel in dance (Bellevue Dance Center), and her
favorite classes at Franklin High School (French, Art
and Design, and Mathematics – Class of 2013).
Dan’s stress level reaches unhealthy heights watching
Duke-Carolina basketball games, as he played baseball
for Duke as an undergraduate (1983-1987), and earned his
DDS degree from UNC (1987-1991). For the record,
he bleeds the darker shade of blue. He attended
LSU School of Dentistry from 1991-1993 for his
endodontic residency. He used to like to play
ping-pong, but as the current Guinness record holder for
a singles table tennis marathon (132 hours and 31
minutes in August 1978), you can understand why he
seldom plays today! Dan enjoys golf, hiking,
shooting hoops in the driveway with Jessica, beach trips
with friends, and is active in the West End Community
Church and the Interfaith Dental Clinic.
